The sound of a "super8/single8"-projector working. Sometimes you can hear a little extra rattling from the rotating reels. Recorded in a studio with a canon eos600d. Enjoy the sound, credits are not necessary but always appreciated.

My washing machine make this sound - spinning. It was recorded with zoom h2n (xy).

Pulling the cord on my blinds to shuffle them open and closed. Done to accompany an acquaintance's 3d animation thesis. Multiple iterations and various speeds are included, so find one you like and isolate it.

I put a toothbrush inside if a toilet roll and spun the roll on the tooth brush. This was recorded at the open window institute sound booth in centurion, south africa.

I got hit by a spinning firecracker that decided to run into me while recording my other firecracker sounds. In the middle of the clip it sounds like someone stepping on old wood planks. Maybe someone will have some use for this sound.

A rotary sprinkler in my backyard, gradually watering the plants and trees, cycling through the slow clockwise and fast counterclockwise mode. Year: 2020location: aalsmeer, the netherlandschannels: 1 (mono)microphone: unknownmic polar pattern: cardioid.

The sound is coming from the fans of a server. By pulling out one of the fans, all other fans turn up to 100%. The microphone is located above the air duct exactly in the middle of the case and thus between two fan fronts. The soundfile starts with the fans on standard speed. After a few seconds the fans turn up to 100%. I left them there for a few seconds and then quietly plugged the removed fan back in. This fan now also switches to 100% - this is the single, delayed "speed up" that can be heard from second 35. About 10 seconds later, all fans return to normal speed. Unfortunately, a colleague came in at that time and ended up talking into the recording. Due to lack of time, i was unfortunately unable to repeat the audio that day, but will certainly do another re-recording in the future. Feel free to use the sound; no attribution required. Operating my washing machine (front loader, brand: indesit). This reflect the full circle of a washing process from turning the control knob to the typical “clack” when the machine is finished and the look is once again released. All the intermediate steps like washing, spinning and so on, are shorten in time (otherwise this would be a 50min sound clip). But you can loop all those sounds very well. Recorded with a tascam dr-40. Note: feel free to use this sound in one of your own projects. If you want to, you also can send me a link. I asked my dental hygienist if i could recorder her cleaning my teeth. I was lying down in the dentist's chair, with a zoom h2 (xy-stereo, 96khz, 24bit) on my belly pointing upwards. I didn't manage to record the scraping tool (that hook), but i did record:1. The cleaning tool (vibrating, high to very high pitches)2. The polishing tool (spinning?, not so loud i think)3. That thing that constantly sucks away saliva.

What it would sound like if the power generator of a starship cruiser was vocoded through a human woman saying "ahhhhhhhhh" continuously. 4 different power levels / variations in the same. Wav. 24 bit48khz.

The mics were placed in between the dishwasher and the washing machine. Mixpre3, fel pluggy em172, deadcat, no filtering20-05-23_090906_mixpre3_fel_pluggy_kitchen. Wav.

A mixer truck, freshly loaded is mixing (extremely dry) concrete in the drum as it spins on the frame of the truck! i held the mic to the exterior of the steel drum as it spun. So there are underlying cat engine noises in the background. The concrete is so dry, its load enough to over power the majority of engine sounds.
